Basketball Recap: Highland Gets the Win

Highland got their first taste of in-conference action this week and they started things off strong. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Roby Lions 33-31. The score was all tied up 19-19 at the break, but the Hornets were the better team in the second half.

Highland's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-13. As for Roby, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Westbrook the next time they take the court. Highland will head out to face Westbrook at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Roby will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on February 4th.
