Soccer Game Preview: Pebblebrook vs. Osborne

The Pebblebrook Falcons will face off against the Osborne Cardinals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pebblebrook's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Pebblebrook's offense. They lost 5-0 to Paulding County on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Patriots are ranked 81st).

Meanwhile, Osborne also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Rome on Friday, falling 10-0. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Osborne's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pebblebrook, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Pebblebrook was able to grind out a solid win over Osborne in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Pebblebrook since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
