Volleyball Recap: Liberty Takes a Loss

Liberty lost against Howell Central back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Eagles came up short against the Spartans, falling 3-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-15, 25-20.

James Siterlet paced Liberty's offense, picking up 15 kills. Siterlet got some help from Logan Hinds and his 13 assists. Brody Breen controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 14-10-1. As for Howell Central, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 23-3-2.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Rockwood Summit on the 2nd. As for Howell Central, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Althoff Catholic on the 2nd.
