While Northwest's victory against Opelousas wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Raiders narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Fighting Tigers 16-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since April 2, 2025.

Northwest's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11. As for Opelousas, their loss was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9.
