Baseball Recap: Atrisco Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

Atrisco Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Eldorado Golden Eagles, falling 17-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 8-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Samuel Gonzalez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for Atrisco Heritage Academy: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-9 otherwise. Ignacio Quintana was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one double.

Atrisco Heritage Academy's record now sits at 3-10. As for Eldorado, their win bumped their record up to 9-5.
