Soccer Recap: Irvin Takes a Loss

Irvin lost against Bowie back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Irvin Rockets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bowie Bears.

Irvin's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Bowie, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Looking ahead, Irvin will take on Harmony Science Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harmony Science Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Irvin surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bowie, they will venture away from home to challenge Ysleta at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Bowie is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
