Baseball Recap: Richlands Comes Up Short

Richlands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the White Oak Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Wildcats have suffered since March 12th.

Richlands' defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for White Oak, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: White Oak beat Richlands by a score of 6-4 later that day.
