Baseball Recap: Anacoco Comes Up Short

Anacoco lost against Calvary Baptist Academy back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Anacoco Indians fell 10-5 to the Calvary Baptist Academy Cavaliers.

Anacoco's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Anacoco will square off against Pickering at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Anacoco is facing Pickering at the right time seeing as Pickering is stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Calvary Baptist Academy, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-0 win against Doyline on the 7th.
