Baseball Recap: Elizabeth Forward Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Elizabeth Forward couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the East Pennsboro Panthers on Thursday, falling 14-4. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Warriors, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Elizabeth Forward saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacob Peterson, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Elizabeth Forward's defeat dropped their record down to 17-5. As for East Pennsboro, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 24-0.

As of now, neither Elizabeth Forward nor the Panthers have any future games scheduled.
