Basketball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Santa Fe Indian

Santa Fe Indian waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 75-62 victory over the West Las Vegas Dons. This was a revenge game for the Braves: when they faced off against the Dons back in January, they had to take a 66-57 defeat.

West Las Vegas lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mateo Duran, who posted 14 points. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Tafoya, who went 9-for-18 en route to 22 points and five boards.
