Basketball Game Preview: Anclote Sharks vs. Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers

The Anclote Sharks will face off against the Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Anclote is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Countryside just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They were outmatched by the Cougars and fell 67-14. The contest marked the Sharks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Angeline Academy of Innovation was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss. They were dealt a 71-33 defeat at the hands of Bishop McLaughlin Catholic. While losing is never fun, the Archers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 777th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 347th).

Angeline Academy of Innovation's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Anclote, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.
