Washington has gone 3-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Washington Rams will be playing at home against the Central Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Washington will be strutting in after a victory while Central will be coming in after a defeat.

Washington will head into Thursday's matchup on the come-up: they were handed a 65-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Independence, sneaking past 38-36.

Washington found their leader in freshman Alicia Mendez, who posted 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Cook, who put up eight points.

Meanwhile, Central played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 99-9 defeat at the hands of McClintock. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Washington, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7.

Washington took their victory against Central in their previous meeting back in November of 2023 by a conclusive 68-42. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Central's Lia Sims, who went 17 of 34 on her way to 38 points in addition to eight steals and five boards. Now that she won't be playing on Tuesday, will it be easier for Washington to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
