Soccer Game Preview: Beebe vs. Sheridan

The Beebe Badgers will square off against the Sheridan Yellowjackets at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Beebe will be strutting in after a victory while Sheridan will be coming in after a defeat.

If Beebe beats Sheridan with three goals on Monday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two matches with that exact score. The Badgers came out on top against Stuttgart by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. The win made it back-to-back victories for Beebe.

Meanwhile, Sheridan faced Benton in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Yellowjackets fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 1-0. The loss continues a trend for Sheridan in their meetings with Benton: they've now lost five in a row.

Sheridan's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Beebe, their win bumped their record up to 2-4.

Beebe skirted past Sheridan 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2018. Do the Badgers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Yellowjackets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
