Volleyball Recap: Northwest Christian Victorious

Northwest Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Youngker on Saturday. The Northwest Christian Crusaders came out on top against the Youngker Roughriders by a score of 2-0.

Sam Caldwell paced Northwest Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Caldwell got some help from Trace Martin and his 15 assists. Martin was also solid from the service line: he led the team with five aces.

Northwest Christian now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Youngker, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Northwest Christian will square off against Gilbert Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Youngker will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Washington at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. Youngker is facing Washington at the right time seeing as Washington is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
