Fresno Christian is 9-1 against Riverdale since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Fresno Christian Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Riverdale Cowboys at 6:00 p.m. Fresno Christian will be strutting in after a win while Riverdale will be coming in after a defeat.

Fresno Christian is headed into the match having just posted their biggest victory since January 4th on Friday. They blew past Minarets 46-20. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Mustangs: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Riverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a blow against Parlier, falling 61-16. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1125th, while the Panthers are ranked 365th).

Riverdale now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Fresno Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 11-13.

Everything went Fresno Christian's way against Riverdale in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as Fresno Christian made off with a 43-23 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fresno Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
