Basketball Recap: Brownsboro's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Friday

Brownsboro lost against Canton back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brownsboro Bears fell 39-27 to the Canton Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 213th, while the Eagles are ranked 78th).

The loss snapped Brownsboro's winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 13-7 record. As for Canton, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Mabank the next time they take the court. Brownsboro will head out to face Mabank at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Canton will host them at 6:15 p.m. on December 20th.
