Soccer Recap: Reading Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Reading was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against the Northwest Knights, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Reading can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 267th, while Northwest are ranked 112th).

Reading's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Northwest, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-2.

Coming up, Reading will face off against Taylor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Northwest, they will square off against Chillicothe at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
