Everything went the Saints' way against Pleasant Plains on Tuesday as they made off with a 70-50 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Saints.

Meanwhile, Athens had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game with ease, bagging an 84-23 win over Hartsburg-Emden. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Stags recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.
