Basketball Game Preview: Christian Family Academy Fire vs. Pinnacle Classical Academy Eagles

Christian Family Academy has gone 9-1 against Pinnacle Classical Academy recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Fire will venture away from home to face off against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Pinnacle Classical Academy took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Christian Family Academy, who comes in off a win.

Christian Family Academy is headed out to face Pinnacle Classical Academy after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Fire took their game last Tuesday with ease, bagging a 73-33 victory over Heritage Christian. The Fire pushed the score to 55-25 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles had little chance of recovering from.

Christian Family Academy relied on the efforts of Noah Danley, who almost dropped a double-double with 16 points and nine rebounds, and Toby Marsh, who went 7-for-10 en route to 18 points and seven boards. Those 16 points gave Danley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jayden Himes, who posted nine points and five steals.

Pinnacle Classical Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They were beaten by Lake Lure Classical Academy 49-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Eagles have suffered since January 20th.

Christian Family Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Pinnacle Classical Academy when the teams last played back in January, winning 51-40. Will the Fire repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
