Baseball Recap: Interboro Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Interboro can now relate to. They came up short against the Springfield Township Spartans on Tuesday, falling 11-3. The Buccaneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Interboro saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Interboro's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Springfield Township, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-3.

Interboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Springfield Township, they will challenge Pope John Paul II at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Springfield Township's pitchers better be ready for this one: Pope John Paul II has averaged an impressive 8.8 runs per game this season.
