Softball Game Preview: Grant Lancers vs. Reseda Regents

The Grant Lancers will challenge the Reseda Regents at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Grant is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game dating back to last season on Wednesday. They came up short against Canoga Park, falling 25-5.

Nazareth Ramirez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two).

Meanwhile, Reseda lost 14-1 to Sylmar on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Regents' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Fuentes Thereze was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and one double.

Grant's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Reseda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.
