Baseball Recap: Reeths-Puffer Comes Up Short

Reeths-Puffer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 12-1 to the Jenison Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 13-0 defeat on Tuesday.

Reeths-Puffer saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brendan Guikema, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

Reeths-Puffer's loss dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Jenison, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 20 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-8 record this season.

Reeths-Puffer will challenge Whitehall at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Jenison, they will take on Grand Blanc at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
