Mead is 1-9 against Holy Family since September of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Mead Mavericks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Holy Family Tigers at 4:00 p.m. Mead will be hoping to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Mead finally turned things around against Legacy on Tuesday. They blew past the Lightning 21-2. The Mavericks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Maddilyn Bomareto was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off six hits. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in hits. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 5-for-5 with a home run, seven RBI, and seven RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Adisyn Rademacher, who scored five runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
