Basketball Recap: Thorndale Extends Winning Streak to Three

Thorndale entered their tilt with McDade on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the McDade Bulldogs 45-22. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-22 back in December of 2024.

Thorndale has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 16-13 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.0 points per game. As for McDade, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.

Coincidentally, Thorndale and McDade will both be playing Granger the next time they take the court. McDade will host Granger at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Thorndale will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 31st.
