Softball Recap: Central Noble's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Tuesday

After flying high against West Noble on Monday, Central Noble came back down to earth. The Cougars came up short against the Eastside Blazers on Tuesday, falling 8-1. The Cougars' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Central Noble saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Grace Swank, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI. Nevaeh Schoup also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Central Noble's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Eastside, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Central Noble is set to challenge their familiar foe Fairfield at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Eastside will face off against rival Churubusco at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
