Basketball Recap: Maynard Takes a Loss

Maynard was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Earle Bulldogs and fell 70-28. Having soared to a lofty 57 points in the game before, the Tigers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Maynard's defeat dropped their record down to 1-20. As for Earle, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Maynard will face off against Hillcrest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Earle, they will square off against Crowley's Ridge Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crowley's Ridge Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Earle surely won't give up without a fight.
