Basketball Recap: Northeast Dubois Find Success

Northeast Dubois won the last time they faced Barr-Reeve, and Emmersen Kalb did her part to make sure it happened again. The Northeast Dubois Jeeps blew past the Barr-Reeve Vikings 57-33 on Thursday thanks in part to Kalb, who went 10 for 16 on her way to 31 points and five steals. Those 31 points gave her a new career-high.

Despite the loss, Barr-Reeve still got an impressive performance from Hannah Bledsoe, who went 5 of 9 en route to 15 points and six rebounds. Liv Emmons also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Northeast Dubois' win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Barr-Reeve, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6.

Northeast Dubois has already played their next match (against South Webster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Barr-Reeve has already played their next game, a 60-52 victory against White River Valley on the 18th.
