Football Game Preview: East Poinsett County vs. Rector

On Friday Rector take on East Poinsett County at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-52, which was the final score in Rector's tilt against Piggott last Friday. Rector were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-24.

Meanwhile, after having lost a blowout to Walnut Ridge in their previous match, East Poinsett County were happy to find some success. East Poinsett County secured a 26-20 W over Corning.

East Poinsett County's win lifted them to 2-1 while Rector's defeat dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if East Poinsett County can add another positive mark to their record or if Rector can shake off the loss and take the spring out of East Poinsett County's step.
