Game recap: Sutter posts big fourth quarter in romp over Central Valley

Sutter (Calif.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring seven in the fourth quarter to seal a 30-3 victory over Central Valley (Shasta Lake, Calif.).

The Huskies were up 17-0 at the half after taking the lead on a field goal by Lynch in the first quarter.

Sutter expanded its lead to 20 points entering the fourth quarter. SHS scored once in the quarter on.

The Huskies's best player in the win was Nathan Ahlers. The senior ran for three touchdowns. He has now scored four touchdowns on the season.

Sutter entered the contest giving up only 0.0 points per game. The three points that the Falcons ended with were right around their average of 7.0 coming into the game.



This is the second loss in a row for Central Valley, which fell to River Valley 17-7 last week. SHS defeated Bethel last week, 42-0.

In a non-conference game tilt next week Sutter (2-0) takes on Clarkston, and Central Valley (0-2) will go up against Orland in a non-conference game.
