The Cattaraugus-Little Valley Timberwolves's five-game losing streak dating back to last season came to an end on Monday. They claimed a resounding 52-23 win over West Valley Central at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Cattaraugus-Little Valley has managed all season.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Dj Szata out in front who scored 13 points along with three steals. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Camden Young , who scored five points along with five assists and five steals.
Cattaraugus-Little Valley's victory bumped their record up to 1-4. As for West Valley Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
