Basketball Recap: Hope Christian Gets the Win

Hope Christian hadn't done well against Albuquerque Academy recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Hope Christian Huskies slipped by the Albuquerque Academy Chargers 68-67. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 79-72 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Hope Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Albuquerque Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Hope Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Espanola Valley at 5:00 p.m. on December 26th. Albuquerque Academy and Menaul will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
