Baseball Recap: Green Sea Floyds Takes a Loss

After flying high against Mullins last Thursday, Green Sea Floyds came back down to earth. Green Sea Floyds came up short against the Latta Vikings on Friday, falling 19-9. The defeat continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Vikings: they've now lost three in a row.

Green Sea Floyds' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Latta, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Green Sea Floyds will square off against Marion at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Marion has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.56 runs per game on average), something Green Sea Floyds will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Latta, they will welcome Hemingway at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
