Brandon Santiago Goes Supernova in Cherokee Win
 Starting off the list is Cherokee's  Brandon Santiago, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Santiago rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.7 yards per carry.
 Santiago and Cherokee are taking a road trip to  challenge Murphy  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Santiago will face off against  Cameron Clem, the Bulldogs' star running back. Will the  game be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Cherokee Gets a Boost from Smith in  27-14  Win
 Keeping Santiago company is  Luke Smith, a fellow Cherokee player. He made eight total tackles (3.0 for loss) and defended a pass.
 For the season,  Smith  has averaged 6.2 total tackles per game. It gets even more impressive:  after nine games last season,  he was only averaging 25.67  receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 39.33  receiving yards.

Cooper Adams Dazzles in Robbinsville Victory
 Winning always takes teamwork, but  on Friday  Cooper Adams stepped things up a notch to give Robbinsville the 'W'. Hayesville had no answer to  Adams  as he rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown, and also caught a touchdown.
 For the season,  Adams  has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 66.9 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he was only averaging 26.86  rushing yards per game.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Bryce Adams Leads Robbinsville over Hayesville
 Robbinsville was led to victory by  Bryce Adams, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Friday. Adams threw for 117 yards and three touchdowns on only six passes, and also rushed for 30 yards.
 On the season,  Adams  has thrown 9 touchdowns while averaging 99.8 passing yards per game. It gets even more impressive:  after nine games last season,  he was only averaging 1.67  rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 36.11  rushing yards.

Ben Bethel Rounds Out Top Five
 Rounding off our Top Five is  Ben Bethel of Hayesville. Bethel picked up 77 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Hayesville dropped their record down to 2-7 with the  defeat, which was their fourth straight  at home. Bethel and Hayesville will venture away from home to  challenge Andrews  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday.
