Baseball Recap: Franklin Takes a Loss

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 21st straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 14-3 to the Sussex Central Tigers. On the bright side, the three- run performance marked the Broncos' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Sussex Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Franklin and Sussex Central will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Broncos see the field they'll take on Essex at 5:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Sussex Central, their break will end when they face Windsor at 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
