The team relied heavily on Kyah Lajewski, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, five RBI, and one triple. She continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Mynderse Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. Having lost for the first time this season, Palmyra-Macedon fell to 4-1.

Saturday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Mynderse Academy hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .332. However, it's not like Palmyra-Macedon struggles in that department as they've averaged .368. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.

Everything went Mynderse Academy's way against Palmyra-Macedon when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Mynderse Academy made off with a 21-10 win. Will the Blue Devils repeat their success, or do the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
