Volleyball Game Preview: Kasson-Mantorville Komets vs. Northfield Raiders + Official Tickets

After both having extra time off, the Kasson-Mantorville Komets and the Northfield Raiders will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kasson-Mantorville took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Winona by a score of 3-1. The Komets haven't had any issues with the Winhawks recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Winona scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 26-28, 25-20, 25-23.

Meanwhile, two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Northfield walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday.

Northfield was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-18, 25-16.

Kasson-Mantorville's record now sits at 18-8. As for Northfield, their record is now 16-13.
