Basketball Recap: St. Charles North Takes a Loss

St. Charles North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 62-34 loss at the hands of the Glenbard West Hilltoppers. While losing is never fun, the North Stars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 326th, while the Hilltoppers are ranked 12th).

St. Charles North's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Glenbard West, their win bumped their record up to 9-1.

St. Charles North and New Trier will round out the year against one another at at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in New Trier's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games. As for Glenbard West, they will be taking part in a tournament against Nazareth Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
