Volleyball Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Knights when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12.

Heritage's offense was headlined by Faith Latham and Brooklynn Powell, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Bre Ploense and her six assists.

Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 7-24-1. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season.

Heritage has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Judah Christian on the 20th. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, they will take on Unity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
