Volleyball Recap: Hyde Park Takes a Loss

Hyde Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carver Challengers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Thunderbirds of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-21.

Hyde Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Carver, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hyde Park is set to challenge their familiar foe Tilden at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Carver will take on rival ACERO Garcia at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
