Buford waltzed into their game on Thursday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Lanier Longhorns. That's more bragging rights for the Wolves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Clara Briley paced Buford's offense, picking up 13 kills. Briley got some help from Olivia Hayden and her 11 assists. Reagan Callender controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Buford's victory bumped their record up to 18-2. As for Lanier, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 15-12.

Buford didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Shiloh on the 18th. As for Lanier, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Discovery on the 18th.
