Baseball Recap: Nashoba Valley Tech Gets the Win

While Nashoba Valley Tech's win against Murdock wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Vikings had just enough and edged out the Blue Devils 11-10 on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Vikings have posted since April 26, 2024.

Micah Wells was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Nashoba Valley Tech's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 4-0-1 (and 4-5 when he doesn't). Griffen Casey was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Nashoba Valley Tech's win bumped their record up to 8-5-1. As for Murdock, they are on a 33-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.
