Volleyball Recap: New Trier Takes a Loss

New Trier was the 2-1 winner over Maine South when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Trevians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks on Tuesday.

New Trier was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-23.

New Trier's loss dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Maine South, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-8.

New Trier wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Evanston on the 8th. As for Maine South, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Glenbrook South on the 8th.
