Basketball Recap: Mize Takes a Loss

Mize lost against North Forrest back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mize Bulldogs took a 55-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Forrest Eagles.

Mize's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for North Forrest, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-6.

Mize and Mount Olive will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mize is facing Mount Olive at the right time seeing as Mount Olive is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for North Forrest, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Richton at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
