Softball Game Preview: Glenn Bobcats vs. Coleman Comets

The Glenn Bobcats will venture away from home to face off against the Coleman Comets at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Glenn has now lost eight straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since April 29.

Glenn came up short against Garber on Tuesday, falling 9-2.

Coleman came out on top against Carson City-Crystal on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run sixth inning. The Comets blew past the Eagles 14-4. The victory continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won six in a row.

Coleman's win bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Glenn, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-14.

Glenn got the 'W' when the teams last played back in May of 2025 against Coleman by a conclusive 13-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bobcats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
