Volleyball Recap: East Coweta Indians vs. Sequoyah Chiefs
East Coweta lost against Sequoyah back in August of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chiefs. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11.
Avery Miller paced East Coweta's offense, picking up five kills. Miller got some help from Niah Redmond and her nine assists.
East Coweta's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Sequoyah, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.
Coincidentally, East Coweta and Sequoyah will both be playing Denmark the next time they take the court. The Chiefs will host Denmark at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Indians will play them later in the day, at 10:00 a.m.
