Basketball Recap: Grandview Heights Takes a Loss

Grandview Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 57-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Whitehall-Yearling Rams. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 65-57 back in December of 2024.

Grandview Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Whitehall-Yearling, with the win, they broke their ten-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-14.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Grandview Heights Bobcats take on the Bexley Lions at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Grandview Heights is facing Bexley at the right time seeing as Bexley is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Whitehall-Yearling has already played their next match, a 60-53 loss against Northside Christian on the 1st.
