While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles who were credited with the win. The Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to the Trinity Greenlawn Titans' four. While losing is never fun, Trinity Greenlawn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Elkhart Christian Academy are ranked 29th).

Trinity Greenlawn's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 13-0.

Coming up, Trinity Greenlawn will venture away from home to take on Westview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, they will take on North Miami at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
