Baseball Recap: New Lexington Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, New Lexington was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to the Tri-Valley Scotties. The match marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

New Lexington saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tanner Toth, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

New Lexington has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Tri-Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.
