Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Carthage). Everything went their way against the Watertown Cyclones on Monday as they made off with an 18-2 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Comets as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Carthage's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for Watertown, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Carthage will take on Gouverneur at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something the Comets surely won't give up without a fight. Watertown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
