Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Wayne). Everything went their way against the Newark Reds on Thursday as they made off with a 4-1 victory. This was a revenge game for Wayne: when they faced off against Newark back in September, they had to take a 2-1 defeat.

Wayne's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-7-1. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three contests. As for Newark, they moved to 6-6-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Coming up, Wayne will venture away from home to take on Honeoye Falls-Lima at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Newark, they will host Williamson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
